Sowden Wallis was established in 2014 by Tom Wallis.
Working in a local branch of a national estate agent chain, Tom Wallis realised something was missing from the Stamford property sector: an independent estate agent who put customers at the heart of everything they do.
And so, Sowden Wallis was born with this in mind. Why not focus on the client rather than the property? Getting to know our clients is key to providing the best service we can offer, whether that means over a cup of tea in our cosy office or via a quick email. Known for her diligence and organisational prowess, Sandra is our spreadsheet whizz and excels at maintaining positive relationships with tenants, landlords, and local tradespeople. Always promptly resolving maintenance issues, Sandra ensures the fabric of our properties stays up to spec, keeping tenants happy.
With a keen eye for detail, Claire handles all landlord payments and oversees the day-to-day office operations. She has a meticulous approach combined with expertise in landlord and tenant requirements.
Trevor has lived locally for more than 20 years and is a local councillor. He has an excellent knowledge of the local area and its amenities. Formally the European Sales Capability Director for Goodyear Tyres his outstanding special sales skill adds a valuable dimension to our team.

With both Tom and Marcus's love of sport, it was a natural fit for us to become a sponsor for Stamford Town cricket club in recent years. We also sponsored Zak Chappell, an up-and-coming former Stamford Town cricketer who has since been part of England Cricket’s bowlers initiatives.
Always keen to help those in need in our community, we donate prizes to the Evergreen Care Trust raffle and are a Beacon Business in their Lighthouse Project, working in partnership to make positive change across Stamford, Bourne and The Deepings. Partner Tom Wallis has also completed the Alzheimers Society Dementia Friends programme, which “aims to transform the way the nation thinks, acts and talks about the conditions.
